[12-21-2024] Male Bicyclist Killed in Collision with SUV on Highway 101A male bicyclist was fatally struck by a Chevy Tahoe on southbound Highway 101 near the Silver Avenue off-ramp in San Francisco early Saturday morning, December 21, 2024.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the driver of the SUV remained at the scene, cooperated with authorities, and was not found to be intoxicated.

Officials stated it is possible the bicyclist was struck by additional vehicles, though the exact number is unclear. The bicyclist, described as a man between 30 and 35 years old, has not yet been identified.

The CHP continues to investigate the circumstances of the collision.
