[12-18-2024] San Bernardino County, CA – Mother Killed After Two-Vehicle Crash on Cottonwood Avenue in Hesperia

A two-vehicle collision in Hesperia claimed the life of a mother who was on her way to pick up her son from school on Wednesday afternoon, December 18, 2024.

The crash occurred at approximately 1:51 p.m. at the intersection of Cottonwood Avenue and El Centro Road and involved a black Honda sedan and a gray 2008 Mazda3. 

The Honda sustained significant damage to the driver’s side, while the Mazda3 had severe front-end damage.

The identity of the victim has not been released, and the extent of injuries sustained by the other driver remains unknown.

The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Hesperia Station is leading the investigation.
