Three people sustained injuries following a three-vehicle collision on Highway 166, one mile east of Pine Canyon, Santa Barbara County, on Tuesday morning, December 17, 2024.
According to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department, the crash occurred around 8:41 a.m.
A pickup truck collided with a box truck traveling in the opposite direction, and a third vehicle, a Honda Accord, was struck by debris from the collision.
One person sustained major injuries and was airlifted, while two other individuals sustained minor injuries but declined medical treatment at the scene.
Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
