[12-13-2024] Pedestrian Killed After Being Struck By Vehicle on Ygnacio Valley Road Northeast Walnut CreekA pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle in northeast Walnut Creek early Friday morning, December 13, 2024.

The incident occurred at approximately 6:25 a.m. on westbound Ygnacio Valley Road, just east of Oak Grove Road. 

According to the Walnut Creek Police Department, the driver immediately called 911 and remained at the scene, cooperating fully with investigators.

Authorities have not released further details about the pedestrian or the circumstances leading to the crash.
