Two people were injured after a two-vehicle collision on Highway 49 near Maidu Avenue in Nevada City late Monday morning, November 25, 2024.
According to California Highway Patrol Officer Justin Reed, the crash involved a pickup truck driven by 73-year-old Donald A. and another vehicle driven by 38-year-old Heather S.
The circumstances of the collision indicate that the 38-year-old driver may not have seen the pickup in time to avoid the crash.
The CHP is continuing to investigate the incident, and further details have not yet been released.
