Four individuals, including three children, were hospitalized after a single-vehicle rollover crash in Orangevale, Sacramento County, on Wednesday night, November 20, 2024.
According to Sacramento Metro Fire, the incident occurred just before 9:00 p.m. near Chestnut Avenue and Greenback Lane, approximately 20 miles east of Sacramento.
The vehicle, possibly an SUV or van, ended up on a residential lawn, resting on its side against a tree.
Emergency responders extricated two adults and three children from the vehicle. One adult was transported to the hospital in critical condition, while the three children were treated for minor to moderate injuries.
The adult driver, allegedly under the influence, was detained by the California Highway Patrol on suspicion of DUI.
Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
