The crash occurred at approximately 5:30 p.m. at the intersection of Rose and Josephine streets. 

Authorities reported that the pedestrian, a man in his 60s, was unconscious and bleeding from the head after being hit by the driver. He was transported to Highland Hospital but was later pronounced dead. His name is not being released pending family notification.

No signs of speeding were noted, but the driver struck the pedestrian with enough force to break the car’s windshield. The driver remained at the scene.
