One person sustained minor injuries in a suspected DUI and hit-and-run collision in Petaluma on Halloween night, Thursday, October 31, 2024.
According to Petaluma police, officers were dispatched shortly before 9:00 p.m. to the area of Petaluma Boulevard South and C Street, where they learned that a driver involved in the crash had fled the scene. The injured individual was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Authorities identified Taylor A., 30, of Petaluma, as the suspected hit-and-run driver. Officers later located her at a residence, where she allegedly displayed signs of alcohol intoxication and possibly a controlled substance. She was arrested and booked into Sonoma County Jail on suspicion of felony DUI and hit-and-run.
