Two people were injured after a single-vehicle DUI rollover crash involving a 2023 yellow McLaren in Madera County early Saturday morning, November 2, 2024.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at approximately 1:45 a.m. on Business Route 41 near Root Creek Road.
The McLaren was traveling northbound when the driver failed to navigate a curve, causing the vehicle to veer off the roadway and overturn multiple times before coming to rest on its roof. The vehicle then caught fire, trapping both the driver and a passenger inside.
Emergency personnel managed to extricate both individuals before the McLaren became fully engulfed. The driver sustained severe injuries, including burns, while the passenger suffered minor injuries.
Both were transported to a local hospital for treatment. The driver was later arrested on suspicion of DUI. CHP officials are urging the public to avoid impaired driving and plan ahead to prevent accidents.

What A Lawyer Can Do For You
Many victims put off calling a lawyer even if they sustain injuries after an accident. However, lawyers can help you in many ways. They can provide you with police reports, CCTV footage, and witness statements to strengthen your case. Your attorney will also negotiate with insurance companies to get you fair compensation. The best part is that they will do all of these things for you at no upfront cost. So if you’re injured in an accident, hire a personal injury attorney to recover medical bills, car repair costs, lost wages, and pain and suffering.
