[10-28-2024] Bicyclist Killed After Crash with Semi-Truck on Industrial Boulevard in West SacramentoA bicyclist has died following a crash on Industrial Boulevard in West Sacramento on Monday afternoon, October 28, 2024.

Emergency crews were dispatched to the scene near Stone Boulevard just before 2:30 p.m.

Upon arrival, they found a man in his early 20s down in the roadway. Despite efforts to revive him, the bicyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.

The semi-truck driver, who was unharmed, remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators. 

Authorities have stated that the eastbound lanes of Industrial Boulevard will remain closed during the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
