A motorcyclist was killed in a crash involving a gray Dodge Charger on Dillon Road in Desert Edge, Riverside County, on Friday night, October 18, 2024.
California Highway Patrol investigators reported that the Charger was heading eastbound on Dillon Road when the driver attempted to make a left turn onto Desert Crest Avenue.
The motorcyclist, riding a Kawasaki and traveling westbound, collided with the right side of the Charger. The impact ejected the motorcyclist, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators confirmed that the driver of the Charger was not injured but was arrested at the scene. Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash. The identities of both the driver and the motorcyclist have not yet been released.
The investigation is ongoing.
