[10-16-2024] 94-Year-Old Man Dies Following Vehicle-Pedestrian Collision in Pasadena A 94-year-old man died following a vehicle-pedestrian collision in Pasadena on Wednesday night, October 16, 2024. 

The incident occurred at 8:40 p.m. at the intersection of Oakland Avenue and Colorado Boulevard, according to Pasadena Police Lieutenant Andrea Perez.

Officers responded to reports of a traffic collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian. Upon arrival, they found the victim had sustained major injuries. The victim was transported to a local hospital in critical condition; despite life-saving efforts, he succumbed to his injuries.

The other party involved, a 78-year-old man from Pasadena, remained at the scene. The Pasadena Police Department’s Major Accident Investigation Team responded and began their investigation. 

Neither man has been identified by police, and the investigation is ongoing.
