Three pedestrians sustained injuries after a hit-and-run collision in Modesto on Wednesday night, October 16, 2024.
According to the Modesto Police Department, the incident occurred just before 7:00 p.m. in the 3200 block of Keller Street.
The victims, who are believed to have been walking on the sidewalk, were struck by a vehicle. Authorities reported that all three pedestrians are expected to survive. A teenager among the injured was airlifted to a hospital as a precautionary measure.
The driver fled the scene but has since been identified by police. Details about the driver have not been disclosed. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
