The crash occurred around 8:25 p.m. on Lone Tree Way near Canada Valley Road.

Antioch police officers responded to an emergency call reporting a pedestrian had been hit and found the 53-year-old woman unresponsive in the eastbound lanes of Lone Tree Way.

Officers administered first aid until paramedics arrived and transported the woman to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Traffic investigators are currently handling the case, which remains ongoing. The cause of the collision has not yet been determined, and authorities have not released any information about the suspect vehicle or driver.
