[10-09-2024] Injuries Still Unknown After Two-Vehicle Crash Involving Big Rig on I-80 in VacavilleA collision involving a big rig and another vehicle disrupted traffic on eastbound Interstate 80 in Vacaville on Wednesday afternoon, October 9, 2024. 

The accident was reported at around 3:20 p.m., just west of Allison Drive. 

Emergency responders, including the California Highway Patrol, arrived on the scene and blocked at least two eastbound lanes as of 3:36 p.m. to manage the situation and clear debris from the roadway.

No information has been released regarding potential injuries at this time, and traffic is anticipated to remain slow until the lanes are fully reopened.
