According to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred around 10:15 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of Folsom Boulevard at Coloma Road, prompting deputies to close the area to traffic.

The driver of the white SUV, shown in a sheriff’s office post with a partially detached front bumper, remained at the scene and was reportedly cooperative.

Authorities advised other drivers to avoid the area and use alternative routes as the investigation continues.
