[09-29-2024] Man Fatally Struck by Vehicle on Rosecrans AvenueA homeless man was struck and fatally injured while walking along Rosecrans Avenue in the Harbor Gateway area of Los Angeles on Sunday night, September 29, 2024.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the crash occurred at around 9:29 p.m. at the intersection of Rosecrans Avenue and Figueroa Street. 

The 40-year-old man was walking westbound on Rosecrans Avenue when he was hit by a westbound motorist.

Emergency responders rushed the injured pedestrian to a hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities. 

An investigation into the fatal incident is ongoing.
