[09-29-2024] One Killed, Another Injured After Single-Vehicle Crash on Auburn BoulevardA man died and his passenger was injured after a single-vehicle crash in Sacramento on early Sunday morning, September 29, 2024.

According to Sacramento Police Department spokeswoman Officer Allison Smith, officers responded to the crash at approximately 5:00 a.m. in the 4200 block of Auburn Boulevard, where they located the driver and his passenger in a sedan.

Officers performed life-saving measures, but the driver was pronounced dead at the scene. His passenger was transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation, and the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office will release the identity of the deceased driver once his family is notified.
