A 49-year-old male pedestrian was killed after a DUI collision in Cutler, Tulare County, on Saturday evening, September 14, 2024.

According to the California Highway Patrol, officers responded to First Drive west of Cutler Drive for a crash at around 10:15 p.m.

Investigators say a woman was driving a black Dodge Caravan westbound on First Drive when, for reasons still under investigation, a man was walking northwest across the road and was struck by the vehicle. The man died at the scene. The driver was not hurt.

The cause of the crash is under investigation, and alcohol and/or drugs are considered to be factors.

The investigation is ongoing.
