One person is in the hospital following a crash involving a pickup truck and a Porsche SUV in San Diego County early Monday morning, September 16, 2024.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred just after midnight on Interstate 8 near Taylor Street.

Officers arrived to find a white pickup truck on its roof and a black Porsche SUV involved in the incident.

The San Diego Fire-Rescue Department reported that medics assisted three individuals at the scene, with one person being transported to the hospital.

The CHP is still investigating the cause of the crash.
