[09-14-2024] Woman Killed After Vehicle-Pedestrian Collision on Blackstone AvenueA woman was pronounced dead at the scene after being struck by a vehicle in north Fresno early Saturday morning, September 14, 2024.

According to Fresno Police, the collision occurred at around 3:19 a.m. at the intersection of Blackstone and Spruce Avenues. 

The driver of a southbound vehicle in the number one lane struck the pedestrian, who is estimated to be around 70 years old.

Investigators reported that the driver had a green light at the time of the collision, and authorities do not believe that the driver was under the influence.

The female pedestrian succumbed to her injuries at the scene. There is no additional information available at this time.
