A motorcyclist sustained minor injuries after a collision involving a tractor-trailer in Moreno Valley on Thursday afternoon, September 12, 2024.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred just after 2:00 p.m. on northbound Interstate 215 at Cactus Avenue.
The motorcyclist collided with the semi, possibly while attempting to exit the freeway, causing him to fall in the No. 2 lane. The truck driver immediately pulled to the shoulder. Good Samaritans helped the rider move to safety along with his bike.
Riverside County Fire Department paramedics arrived a few minutes later, assessed the motorcyclist, and noted minor injuries. The rider chose not to be transported to the hospital.
The truck driver was unharmed. No other vehicles were involved, and northbound traffic on I-215 was briefly disrupted without any lane closures.
