A man in his 70s was killed after being struck by an SUV in Tulare on Monday night, September 9, 2024.
According to the Tulare Police Department, the incident occurred around 7:45 p.m. near the intersection of Bardsley and Blackstone. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities reported that the driver did not see the pedestrian before the crash. The driver called for help and is cooperating with the investigation.
Investigators are still working to determine what the man was doing on the road before the collision.
