[09-08-2024] Motorcyclist Killed After Collision with SUV on Sherman Way in Van NuysA motorcycle rider was killed after striking the side of an SUV in the Van Nuys area of Los Angeles on Sunday night, September 8, 2024.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the crash occurred at approximately 11:12 p.m. on Sherman Way near Ranchito Avenue. 

Both the motorcycle and the SUV were traveling in the same direction when the SUV made a U-turn and was struck by the motorcycle. The motorcycle driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

The front of the motorcycle was severely damaged, and the SUV’s driver’s side door sustained heavy damage.
