At least one person was injured following a multi-vehicle crash along the Interstate 15 freeway in Hesperia on Labor Day, Monday, September 2, 2024.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred around 1:47 p.m. on the northbound I-15, just north of Main Street.

Authorities stated that a white Mazda sedan went airborne and partially landed on another vehicle. Eight vehicles were involved in the collision.

Emergency services responded to the scene and treated a woman who was found sitting up along a drainage ditch. She was later transported by ground ambulance to an area hospital. No other injuries were reported.

The official cause of the accident is currently under investigation by the California Highway Patrol – Victorville Station.
