[08-25-2024] Woman Stuck And Killed After Hit-And-Run Crash in San JoseA woman was struck and killed after a hit-and-run crash in San Jose on Sunday morning, August 25, 2024. 

According to the San Jose Police Department, the incident occurred around 4:20 a.m. on North 33rd Street.

Authorities stated that the woman was found unresponsive and bleeding in the roadway. She was transported to a nearby hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

A person of interest later surrendered to the police. The identity of the victim will be released by the Santa Clara County Medical Examiner-Coroner’s Office after confirming and notifying her next of kin.
