Two women were severely injured after a two-vehicle crash in Westlake, Los Angeles on Thursday afternoon, August 22, 2024.
The crash occurred just before 2:00 p.m. in the 1400 block of West Eighth Street, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
A 28-year-old woman had to be freed by firefighters from one of the vehicles and was transported to a hospital in critical condition. The second woman, aged 32, was taken to a hospital and listed in serious condition.
A third person involved in the crash declined medical treatment. The circumstances surrounding the collision were not immediately available.
