A child sustained minor injuries after a car crashed through the side of a commercial building in Fresno following a two-vehicle collision on Thursday, August 22, 2024.
According to Fresno firefighters, the incident occurred around 12:30 p.m. at the corner of First Street and Olive Avenue.
The vehicle almost exited through the front of the building but was stopped by security bars mounted on the glass.
Emergency responders assessed the building’s stability and reported that it remained structurally sound, with only cosmetic damage. Medical personnel evaluated the child who sustained minor injuries.
Additionally, the crash destroyed a nearby bus stop, but no one was present at the time. No additional information is immediately available.
