A car crashed into a marijuana dispensary in Modesto on Monday, August 19, 2024, leaving a path of destruction and injuring at least two people.

According to Modesto Fire officials, the incident occurred at the Cookies dispensary on W. Orangeburg Avenue. The car reportedly went completely through the building.

One employee was struck by the vehicle during the crash. The driver of the car was also pinned inside, requiring first responders to extract them.

Both the employee and the driver were taken to the hospital for treatment.
