A multi-vehicle crash involving a black BMW, a silver SUV, and several other vehicles resulted in at least one person being killed on the 134 Pasadena Freeway in Glendale late Friday night, August 16, 2024.
The California Highway Patrol responded to the eastbound freeway near the East Brand Boulevard on-ramp at approximately 11:41 p.m. after receiving a report of a vehicle stalled in one lane.
The collision caused several vehicles to block the middle lanes of the freeway, with debris from the crash scattered across multiple lanes.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity, gender, and age of the deceased were not immediately known.
