A 38-year-old man was seriously injured after being stabbed at a Walmart in Yucca Valley, San Bernardino County, late Sunday night, August 11, 2024.
According to the authorities, the incident occurred around 10:45 p.m. in a Walmart shopping plaza on Twentynine Palms Highway and Avalon Avenue.
Deputies arrived at the scene and administered life-saving measures to the victim, who was then rushed to a local hospital for medical treatment. His current condition has not been disclosed. It is still unclear why the suspect targeted the man.
Detectives from the Morongo Basin Sheriff’s Station have taken over the investigation and are actively working on the case. It is not immediately known if the suspect has already been arrested.
