According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened around 8:50 p.m. on West Swain Road near Belmont Plaza. 

Authorities stated that a pedestrian, whose name, age, and gender were not immediately available, was struck by an unspecified vehicle. The victim suffered injuries in the crash, but their condition remains unknown. The extent of the injuries was also unclear. 

Details on how the crash occurred were not disclosed. It is unknown whether drugs, alcohol, or speeding played a role.
