[07-26-2024] Possible Minor Injury Reported Following Multi-Vehicle Crash Involving Big Rig Along I-5A possible minor injury was reported following a multi-vehicle crash involving a big rig in San Joaquin County on Friday morning, July 26, 2024. 

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened around 6:41 a.m. on southbound I-5 in Thornton near the off-ramp of Walnut Grove Road. 

Authorities said at least three vehicles, including a big rig, were involved in the crash. The total number of people involved was not immediately known, but someone may have sustained a minor injury from the accident. 

The name, age, and gender of the possibly injured individual were not disclosed. It is unknown what caused the collision. Investigators are currently gathering all the necessary information to determine the circumstances surrounding the crash. 

Witnesses are encouraged to contact the authorities and share what they know regarding the incident.
