[07-24-2024] Injuries Reported After Four-Vehicle Crash Along Highway 101Injuries were reported after a four-vehicle crash in Redwood City on Wednesday morning, July 24, 2024. 

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened shortly before 7:34 a.m. on Highway 101, south of Woodside Road. 

Authorities stated that four vehicles were involved in the crash on the southbound lanes of the freeway. The total number of people involved was not immediately known, but injuries were reported. The extent of the injuries as well as the condition of the victims were not disclosed as of this writing. 

It is unknown what caused the collision. Drugs, alcohol, and speeding were being investigated as possible factors in the incident. 

Motorists were advised to seek alternative routes as traffic delays were expected near the crash site.
