One person was injured after a dog attack in McKinleyville, Humboldt County, on Wednesday afternoon, July 10, 2024.
According to the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office, the incident happened at Airport Business Park.
Authorities stated that a tan Pitbull attacked a person and their two small dogs. The victim sustained injuries, but their current condition and the extent of their injuries were not disclosed. As of this writing, there is no word yet on the identity of the injured individual.
Meanwhile, the Pitbull’s owner left the scene before the police arrived. The authorities are locating the owner, described as a Hispanic or Native American male around 20-30 years old, with shoulder-length dark hair.
Officials said that the Pitbull owner was last seen driving a small white car with black rims. The victim was able to provide a possible partial license plate number – 9BHJ97.
