Three people were injured following a single-vehicle crash near Agua Dulce, Los Angeles County, on Monday afternoon, July 15, 2024.
According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, the crash happened at around 4 p.m. on State Route 14 near Escondido Canyon Road.
Authorities stated that a car was traveling on the freeway when, for unknown reasons, it veered off the roadway. The vehicle was found with severe damage at the bottom of the embankment off the southbound lanes of the road.
Three people were injured following the crash, and at least one of them was airlifted by a medical helicopter. All of the patients were listed in critical condition. As of this writing, their names, ages, and genders, were not immediately disclosed.
No further information was released, and the officials are gathering all the necessary details to determine the cause of the incident.
