Two women were injured after a five-vehicle collision in Ventura County on Tuesday afternoon, July 9, 2024.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 12:10 p.m. on southbound 101 near Lakeview Canyon Road.

Authorities stated that five unspecified vehicles were involved in the collision. The incident began when one vehicle collided with another, and the other three ended up on sloped terrain off the side of the freeway. One vehicle ran off the road north of Lakeview, while two other vehicles did so in the opposite direction. The fourth vehicle struck a tree while the fifth overturned.

The crash displaced a wasp nest. Consequently, in order to control wasps, firefighters used foam to surround one of the three cars that veered off southbound Highway 101 during a five-vehicle collision.

What A Lawyer Can Do For You

Many victims put off calling a lawyer even if they sustain injuries after an accident. However, lawyers can help you in many ways. They can provide you with police reports, CCTV footage, and witness statements to strengthen your case. Your attorney will also negotiate with insurance companies to get you fair compensation. The best part is that they will do all of these things for you at no upfront cost. So if you’re injured in an accident, hire a personal injury attorney to recover medical bills, car repair costs, lost wages, and pain and suffering.
