[07-09-2024] Possible Minor Injury Reported Following Multi-Vehicle Crash on Highway 99A possible minor injury was reported following a multi-vehicle crash near Elk Grove on Tuesday morning, July 9, 2024. 

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened around 7:34 a.m. on northbound Highway 99 near the off-ramp for Dillard Road.

CHP stated that multiple vehicles were involved in the crash. There is no word yet on the total number of vehicles and people involved, but a possible minor injury was reported. The identity and current condition of the injured victim were not immediately known. 

The cause of the crash remains unclear, and the authorities are gathering all the necessary information to determine the circumstances surrounding the collision. Drugs, alcohol, and speeding were being investigated as possible factors in the incident.
