A 76-year-old woman was killed following a pedestrian vs. vehicle DUI collision in Burbank on Friday afternoon, June 28, 2024.
According to the Burbank Police Department, the crash happened around 4:30 p.m. at the intersection of Olive Avenue and Glenoaks Boulevard.
Authorities stated that a woman, identified as 76-year-old Anahid S. of Burbank, was found suffering from serious injuries after she was hit by a vehicle. Despite the life-saving measures performed by the paramedics, she was later pronounced dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, the police identified the driver of the vehicle that struck the woman as 64-year-old Vincent C., also from Burbank. He was detained for vehicular manslaughter while driving under the influence and was booked into the Burbank City Jail.
