[06-29-2024] Two Men Injured Following Single-Vehicle DUI Collision on Clovis Avenue Two men were injured following a single-vehicle DUI collision in southeast Fresno on Saturday evening, June 30, 2024. 

According to the responding officers, the crash happened after 11:00 p.m. on Clovis Avenue near Columbia Drive. 

Authorities stated that a man was driving north on Clovis when he made an unsafe left turn, causing his car to crash over the center median. Due to the impact, the car rolled over and landed on the front lawn of a nearby home. 

The driver sustained moderate injuries, while his passenger suffered minor injuries. Their name, age, and place of origin were not yet disclosed. As of this writing, there is no word yet on their condition. 

Police said that the driver was arrested for driving under the influence, but it remains unclear why the suspect made an unsafe turn, causing the rollover crash. 

Further information has yet to be released by the authorities.
