A 26-year-old man was killed after a pedestrian vs. vehicle hit-and-run crash in Stockton early Saturday morning, June 22, 2024.
According to the Stockton Police Department, the fatal incident occurred at about 2:17 a.m. at the 8500 block of El Dorado Street near Loch Lomond Park.
Officers said that the victim was walking along El Dorado Street when an unspecified car struck him. The vehicle’s driver quickly drove away from the scene without calling 911.
The collision took the life of the male pedestrian. Details about the victim’s identity, including his name and place of origin, were not disclosed.
No official description of the suspect vehicle and its driver is provided. As of this writing, the hit-and-run driver is still at large.
SPD is currently investigating the deadly accident. Additional information was not immediately available.
