Multiple injuries were reported following a six-vehicle collision involving a semi-truck in Adelanto just past midnight on Thursday, June 20, 2024.
According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, the multi-vehicle pile-up happened at about 12:36 a.m. at the Highway 395 and Calleja Road intersection.
The massive incident involved five unspecified vehicles and a semi-truck with an attached trailer. How the crash happened and who started it remain unknown.
The authorities confirmed that several people were injured due to the accident but did not specify the number of people involved. One victim was reportedly airlifted to receive immediate medical care. It is still unclear if that person was the truck driver involved or the driver of one of the other vehicles.
None of the injured individuals were identified publicly yet. Authorities will release further details as soon as they are available.
