One person was seriously injured after a vehicle vs. school bus collision in Vista on Thursday morning, June 20, 2024.
According to the authorities, the crash happened at about 7:50 a.m. at Monte Vista Drive and Lita Lane.
Reports indicated that the incident involved a green Toyota and a school bus carrying five students, ages 5 to 10. The circumstances of how the two vehicles collided are still unclear.
The driver of the Toyota car reportedly suffered major life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Authorities have yet to provide the name, age, and gender of the injured individual.
No one from the school bus was said to be injured immediately following the crash.
