Two people were injured after a multi-vehicle crash in Los Angeles on Sunday evening, June 16, 2024.
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the collision happened around 11:17 p.m. in the 22000 block of Roscoe Boulevard in Canoga Park.
Authorities stated that multiple parked vehicles with damage were found at the crash site. Upon the officers’ arrival, a car engine was reportedly ejected from one of the vehicle’s engine bays due to the impact of the crash. Additional debris was also scattered throughout the street.
Police said that two people were seen lying on the ground after the incident. Both of them sustained injuries, but only one was transported by ambulance to a local hospital. The extent of the injuries and their current condition were not immediately known.
As of writing, the involved victims have not yet been identified. It is unknown how the collision occurred or if alcohol or drugs played a role.
