[06-15-2024] Four People Injured After Vehicle Crash on Lincoln Avenue in EscondidoFour people were injured after a vehicle crash in Escondido on Saturday morning, June 15, 2024. 

According to the Escondido Police Department, the collision happened around 11:30 a.m. at 121 W Lincoln Avenue. 

Authorities stated that a vehicle crashed into a Starbucks building for unknown reasons. The driver of the vehicle was identified only as a woman who was uninjured in the incident. 

Four people inside the store sustained injuries in the crash. Two of them were elderly victims and were transported to a local hospital for treatment. Meanwhile, the others were treated at the scene. The extent of injuries and their current condition remain unclear. 

It is unknown what caused the collision or if drugs and alcohol played a role. No arrests have been made as of writing. 

The authorities have yet to release further information. Anyone who has witnessed the incident is encouraged to call the police and assist with the investigation.
