One person was killed, and four others were hospitalized following a vehicle collision in Santa Clarita early Sunday morning, June 16, 2024.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 2:15 a.m. on the connector road from the southbound Antelope Valley (14) Freeway to the southbound Golden State (5) Freeway.
Authorities stated that the crash involved a black Nissan sedan. One person was pronounced dead, while four individuals were transported to a hospital for treatment. Two of them sustained critical injuries, and the other two had minor injuries.
As of now, details on the identities of the victims are not available. The total number of vehicles involved is still unclear. It is unknown what caused the collision or if drugs, alcohol, and speeding played a role.
