[06-13-2024] Riverside County, CA – Two People Injured After Single-Vehicle Crash in Coachella

Two people were injured following a single-vehicle crash in Coachella on Thursday night, June 13, 2024. 

According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, the collision happened around 10:46 p.m. around 10:46 p.m. in the area of Grapefruit Boulevard and Avenue 49.

Authorities stated that an unspecified vehicle had reportedly crashed into a tree. Two people inside of it were trapped but, later on, extracted by the emergency personnel. Both of them sustained injuries and were transported to a local hospital for immediate medical care.

As of writing, it is unknown what caused the collision or if drugs or alcohol played a role. No other injuries were reported, and the police are currently investigating to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident. 

Further information on the collision will be released to the public once available. Investigations are ongoing.
