A pedestrian was killed following a three-vehicle collision in Pasadena on Thursday evening, June 13, 2024.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 10:13 p.m. near the junction of the eastbound Pasadena Freeway and the Glendale (2) Freeway.
CHP said that a pedestrian was found lying in one of the eastbound freeway’s lanes after being hit by an unspecified car in a three-vehicle collision. The victim sustained major injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Their name, age, and gender were not immediately known.
The total number of people involved was not disclosed. There is no word yet on the condition of the occupants of the three vehicles. It is also unclear how the collision happened and which vehicle struck the victim.
