A woman was injured following a multi-vehicle collision in Fairfield on Wednesday morning, June 12, 2024. 

According to the responding officers, the crash happened around 5:04 a.m. on westbound Highway 12. 

Authorities stated that the collision involved at least three vehicles, including an unspecified car driving at a high speed. The circumstances of how the incident occurred were still unknown, but the police confirmed that one person, identified only as a woman, was injured in the crash. The identity of the victim and the extent of her injuries were not provided. 

At this time, it is unclear if anyone else sustained injuries. The responding officers continuously searched for evidence to determine the cause of the crash and if drugs or alcohol played a role.
