[06-09-2024] Man Killed After Being Struck By Vehicle on Pacific Coast Highway in Long Beach A man was killed after being struck by a vehicle in Long Beach on early Sunday morning, June 9, 2024. 

According to the Long Beach Police Department, the fatal collision happened around 2:30 a.m. in the 2600 block of East Pacific Coast Highway. 

Authorities stated that a man was pronounced dead at the scene after getting hit by a vehicle. There is no word yet on the identity of the victim as well as the make or model of the car involved. At this time, it is unknown whether the driver of the vehicle fled the scene or cooperated with the authorities. 

The role of alcohol and drugs is being investigated. No other injuries were reported. Details on how the collision occurred remain unclear.
